Vrsions – Privacy Policy
​

This Privacy Policy explains how Sheng-Ting Hung (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects data when you (“User”) access or use the Vrsions mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect
​

  • User-Uploaded Images – images you submit for AI editing. As soon as the edited output is generated and delivered, we delete the source image from our servers within 30 minutes and do not store it thereafter.

  • Purchase & Subscription Data – App Store transaction receipts and renewal information (collected and handled by RevenueCat).

  • App Identifiers – the anonymous App-Specific Identifier (IDFV) generated by iOS (collected and handled by RevenueCat).

  • Usage Analytics – non-identifying event counters such as number of edits or pay-wall views (collected through the RevenueCat SDK).

 

We do not collect your name, email address, payment-card information, precise location, or any other directly identifying data.

Use of Information
​

  1. Provide AI-based image editing – we use the images you upload to deliver the editing feature you request using our own AI models.

  2. Enable “Pro” features – RevenueCat verifies your purchase receipts with Apple and returns an entitlement status (active/inactive). Relying on that status plus the app identifier, we unlock paid features across your devices.

  3. Detect fraud and restore purchases – RevenueCat continuously monitors receipts and identifiers, updating entitlement status if a subscription lapses, renews, or is refunded.

Sharing of Information
​

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with:

​

  • Apple Inc. – processes payments through your Apple ID and provides encrypted receipts.

  • RevenueCat Inc. – validates receipts and stores pseudonymous AppUser IDs, StoreKit receipts, and optional usage analytics on our behalf. RevenueCat’s infrastructure powers 50 000 + apps worldwide, serves over 290 million subscribers, and processes 1.2 billion API calls every day alongside more than US $8 billion in annual subscription revenue, making it one of the most trusted and dependable platforms for managing in-app purchases and subscriptions.

  • Our cloud-hosting providers – temporarily store uploaded images for processing (≤ 10-30 minutes) under encryption.

Data Storage & Retention
​

  • Uploaded images are deleted permanently within 10-30 minutes of processing.

  • Entitlement data held by RevenueCat is retained while your subscription is active and for up to 12 months thereafter (for audit/dispute purposes).

Your Rights
​

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Because subscription data is pseudonymous, we may ask for the App-Specific Identifier (see App Settings → Privacy) to locate it. Send requests to info@shengtingapps.com; we respond within 30 days.

Children’s Privacy
​

The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. Parents who believe a child provided data should contact us for deletion.

Data Security
​

We protect data with TLS-encrypted transmission, server-side encryption at rest, and least-privilege internal access. No internet transmission is 100 % secure, but we strive to safeguard your information.

Governing Law
​

This Policy is governed by the laws of Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vancouver, Canada.

 
Changes to This Policy
​

We may update this Policy periodically. Significant changes will be announced via an in-app notice or email (if provided) at least 7 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the App signifies acceptance of the revised Policy.
